What in the World?

We went up North for Thanksgiving and it was way cold. It was so cold that when we were driving I asked Brandon if we could turn around. I was so cold all week. I was worried about the kids because they were sick. We made it back to the warmer weather. It has been a little cold at home too.
Now for the cute picture of Dantzel. We were up at Grandma and Grandpa Rice's house helping them get ready for Thursday and Dantzel kept coming in the room where we all were with black all over her face. This picture was one of the cutier photos. So you are all probably wondering what it is that she got into. Well, it took us a while to figure it out ourselves. Grandma and Grandpa have a fireplace in there big room. For a while we thought she was somehow putting her face right on the fireplace. I knew that wasn't the case because she would have come and told me that it was HOT. And another reason why I knew that wasn't the case is because I tell her every time we are up there that it is HOT and that it will burn her. I think she is scared of it. Anyhow, it was funny because she wouldn't ever have any black on her hands (weird). Come to find out she was looking out the big window and putting her face right up against it. The window was all dirty from having the fireplace on all the time. No worries, I washed the windows for them so they wont have that problem with any other grand kids for a while anyway. :) Grandma started fricking out because she was afraid it was going to start turning everything black. She was also afraid that her lungs were going to stop working. Brandon had to explain to her that it was all going to be okay. He told her that that was part of having a fireplace in her home.
This is the only photo you get to enjoy for our Thanksgiving Holiday. I didn't get my camera out once. Brandon is the one who even took the picture of Dantzel. I need to be better. Hope you all had a great Turkey Day!

Dantzel is such a cutie! We had such a fun time seeing you guys and visiting with you over Thanksgiving. Hope you're warmer now... I know I am! Although it was pretty cold when we got home... only 75 degrees! LOL:)

Dantzel is so photogenic. I still think she looks like Kirsten Dunst. Cute picture!

How funny. That was an interesting story. I was in supense trying to figure out how she got dirt on her face. That picture is like a glamor shot, Dantzel looks so good even with a brown spot on her nose. :)

What a priceless picture! She reminds me of Cinderella with the smudge on her nose. I told mom that fireplace was sooty, but she didn't believe me that it was. Guess she believes now.
