I ♥ Christmas

We had a very good Christmas this year. The kids were happy and that's all that counts right?!? I really felt the meaning of Christmas this year and season. I am very grateful to have had this experience. Although I think I got the best gifts ever a Nikon D80 Camera and a Cricut. Yes, I was totally spoiled. Brandon did an excellent job surprising me. It isn't about the gifts. We spent time with family this year and that was the highlight. I think we started a new tradition with the Park side of the family and I hope we can make it work every year. We all had a fantastic time. The Hills' side did the usual. It was fun and the food was very good too. My Mom always knows how to make things taste so yummy!

Thanks to all our family who helped make our holidays so memorable!

Christmas Eve, Santa always comes to B-town on the Fire Truck
(James didn't even cry this year, he was close though)
James received "BIG BOY" under-ware from Santa
(he has kept them dry since he has put them on, even all night!)

Dantzel received her Paper (wood) doll from Santa

We made a fast trip to Salt Lake before Christmas. We made some great memories. 2 Christmas parties down in 2 days. Parties can be exhausting! :)

The adults did a White Elephant exchange and this is what Stephen opened. Matt even stole it from him. As you can see we all had a great time laughing and just having a good time.I ♥ this picture because, Kaven is already trying to take Duncan's binky!
We went and visiting Dallas and Tim while we were their. It is always so fun to get the cousins together. Kaven and Duncan are going to be best buds all their lives.

Grandma Linda

Okay, Linda really isn't a blood related grandma but, she sure love my kids like her own. My kids really adore her too. It's not very often we get any pictures of her. This is just so people know who we are talking about when we say we went to Linda's house again for another "PARTY". She is a very good cook and we never turn down food she makes. Well, I take that back. I didn't participate in the cow tongue tacos. Not only was I preggers with Duncan but, I'm to chicken to try weird things like tongue. Linda is very considerate to make me carne asada
instead of the silly cow tongue or fish tacos. LOVE her.

mother/daughter

So I don't post pictures of myself very often because 1. I'm not very photogenic 2. I don't like the way I look 3. I'm always the one behind the camera
Lets face it, the list could go on and on but as for now, I will post a picture of me and my cute daughter just because it was on my camera the other day. Thanks Brandon for actually taking a picture of me instead of just all the kids. j/k I really didn't mean that! lol

Hand-me-down weaving giveaway

My friend has an amazing talent of handmade weaving. Go check out her blog HERE for a fabulous giveaway she is doing. GOOD LUCK

Brotherly LOVE

My two boys are so cute! Little Duncan just LOVES his older brother. I know James adores his baby brother. I can't wait until they get a little older. I just know they are going to be best friends. Makes me happy to know they will always have each other. :)

time for an update

I really can't believe it has been a full month since I have posted. I have been a slacker with my camera. I hate when I go through these phases. Her are a few pictures to share.
Duncan is now 5 months (this is an old picture) he has 2 SHARP teeth. He is still the happiest baby ever!
As you can see Brandon went fishing. He took off one FULL weekend with a friend to check out some new fishing holes.
James has been on a few four wheeler rides. He loves it!!! He is definitely related.
We were in the Veterans day Parade. The kids had a blast throwing candy to the people on the curb. This is just 1 of the Rangers

As you can see...after the parade we had some fun plans to head out to red rock for a picnic. I believe everyone had a great time. Thanks Joey bear and Tosha for coming along. :)

On another note, we now have our backyard dog and kid proof! It has been really nice to be able to let the dogs out back their. This is another reason why it has been so long in between posts. I promise I will try and do better. Happy Winter!
