Dantzel turning into a wanna-be mother!

Sorry we have had so many posts today. We have had a busy day of fun.

So Dantzel thinks she is so big. We started off the day with her taking off James clothes so we could give him a bath. I didn't get any pictures of that (darn). She really had to help me with washing him and the whole works. It was quite the bath. It would be interesting to hear what James had to say about it. Then, she wanted to take him on a ride in her "Baby" stroller. She had a blast running (and I'm not kidding Running) down the hallway. James loved every minute of it. She then persisted to read to him. I couldn't get him out of the stroller fast enough because she got sick of waiting on me and read to herself. What a day. There is never a minute that goes by that is boring around our house.

Great News!!!

James has been teething now for about 2 months. He now has his two front bottom teeth. I tried to get some good pictures, but it is very hard to try and hold his mouth open and take the picture all by myself. I guess I should have waited until Brandon got home. Oh well, now Brandon can be surprised like you when he opens the blog at work to see his sons new teeth.

I am a Child of God

As you all know, Dantzel loves to sing. She has been singing I am a Child of God now all the way through for about a month. It is so cute I thought I would share it with you. I hope you think it is as cute as I did. Sorry she is such a wiggle worm.

Random pictures of James

James always likes it when Daddy gets home from work. He usually holds James and Dinky. James also likes to play with his pet frog. This frog is fun for kids, but is very annoying for me. It has a motion detector and every time someone moves it crooks. I guess it entertains the kids so I can't complain. :)

Dantzel got a hold of Brandon Coke. He likes to get them from Linda's store because it reminds him of Mexico. Dantzel also has a sticker book. Every now and again she will go through and take them out of her book and put them all over her body. She thinks that is really silly. Dantzel spends a lot of time in her sandbox out back. Now that the weather is getting cooler I will go out with her. And the last photo is when Dantzel fell asleep in James bouncer chair. She was playing around in her new boots that are too big. I think it totally wore her out because the next thing we knew she was out.

Stephens wedding

We finally got a few more pictures of Stephen and Nicole's wedding. We had a good time dancing the night away. I think Dantzel dance with most everyone who was willing. She sure did have a lot of energy that night.

Moving up into new beds! :)

Dantzel and James both got new beds today. Dantzel has now passed down the crib to James. She is going to have her first night in a single bed. She is so excited. It is amazing how happy she has been all day without a nap. Dantzel spent a lot of the day reading books on her bed and just having mommy lay by her. I couldn't get a picture of that. :)

James didn't know any different. When I put him in his new bed, Dantzel had to get in with him. She can't be left out of anything he does these days. I got a few really cute pictures of them both in his crib.

They have both been pretty sick with colds. On top of it all James is getting some teeth. I feel so bad for him. They did well with me taking a few pictures with everything going on. We will have to see how they both sleep. I am a little nervous. The worst that could happen is them both in my room. That won't be too big of a change because they have both been in there the past 2 nights with there colds. I hope they get better soon because I need a good nights rest. ;)

Bath Time

Dantzel just had to get into the bath with her baby brother. This is the first time James got a bath in the big bath tub. Dantzel just couldn't let him be by himself. I do have to say it is pretty darn cute. I think Dantzel still wishes she was a baby half the time. She likes to try to fit in everything of his (even his clothes). It sure is a lot of work being a mom but, very rewarding. :)

Beautiful Day at Lake Mead!

We decided to take the day off and head to Lake Mead. It was a nice day. The water was glass. We spend the day swimming in the water and we also took a long boat ride through the narrows. The narrows were very neat. Both Brandon and I loved just being out with our little family. We are very blessed to have 2 kids that enjoy the boat and water as much as us. :)

James is getting so big. He has learned so much. The picture in the brown outfit is him rolling over the first time. I was so surprised. The picture in the striped outfit is just James being his normal self. He is still just as happy as can be. One more thing he can do is jump really good in the jumper. It is so fun to watch him grow. He also likes to sit in his swing and watch us work in the yard. He is such a blessing to our family. I can't wait until he can play with Dantzel more. They just totally adore each other. Hopefully they can stay that way there whole lives.

Last week, the kids and I decide to make a quick trip to Annabella to help Jodi bottle Spaghetti Sauce. We all had a great time. We even made the spaghetti sauce taste good. We had it for dinner the first night and we all thought it turned out really good. We had never made it before so it was a little scary making the first batch.

Dantzel sure does miss and love her cousins. I think sometimes she would rather stay there with them then come home with me. It is getting colder there though. I think soon she is going to be glad she came home with me. :)

Dantzel as a Flower Girl
