Christmas Morning and Day

As you can see we had a very successful Christmas. Dantzel got a bike from Santa. She was so happy. It was fun to see her face when Brandon woke her up at 8:00 am. Brandon couldn't wait for the kids to wake up. Yes, we had to wake both kids. It was fun because we had the camera and video camera rolling when they awoke. Dantzel's picture was the best. She was so excited when we had told her that Santa had come. James on the other hand just looked at us like what in the world are you doing waking me up.
I had to put so many pictures of Dantzel on her new bike because they were all just so cute I couldn't pick my favorite. So just enjoy all of them. You can make fun of me later. :) Hope you all had a fun and as exciting Christmas as we did. Have a Happy and safe New Year!

Christmas Eve

We went to Linda's store for her party and Dantzel even got to try to break open the pinata. I didn't know if she would know what to do but, she did. It was so cute watching her try so hard to bust it open. She got a lot of candy (like she needed more during this Holiday Season). We also got to enjoy some pozole (a Mexican soup like meal) that was very good. Linda is such a neat lady. We just love her!

Brandon was begging Linda if he could bust open the Pinata. She wouldn't let him.
Just kidding, I don't know what they were talking about.

This is Dantzel hat that she got from the pinata. She used it to put her candy in. Then once we got home it turned into a hat. She doesn't know that once I got a hold of it it went right to the trash. I got really sick of all the red paper all over the floor.

In Bunkerville, they have a Santa that gets on top of the Fire Truck and goes around the town to bring a Christmas Eve gift to all the kids. We didn't know this happened until we were going to the Post Office and saw everyone outside waiting for Santa. We got out of the car really fast so Dantzel could have a part in this great activity. Bunkerville is the Best! The only problem with this great idea is, now Dantzel thinks Santa comes on a loud Fire Truck. Kids are so fun at this age. They believe everything and anything they see.

We also had a great Christmas Eve Dinner. Buck and Chris came over for dinner and games. I made a ham, potato's and peas. We then opened presents from Buck and Chris. Dantzel got a princess pillow with lots and lots of glitter. James got some new frog slippers with a stuffed frog. The kids loved every moment. We then let Dantzel open one of her presents that night so she could watch it while we played games. It worked for part of the night. Overall, we had a great time. We were very glad we had someone to spend Christmas Eve with. :)

Taking Christmas down

We had a lot of fun taking our Christmas decorations all down. It took all day but, the kids and I had a blast. We had to play with each decoration before it went in the box for next year. Dantzel had to tell each one by see ya next year. I didn't realize how much she enjoyed looking at each decoration everyday that they were all up. She had to remind me that we had decorations in more rooms that just the family room. What an observant little girl. As you can see in the picture with her in the tree skirt. She thought that was pretty cool that it could tie around her waist. Another funny Dantzel moment was on Christmas morning, she went over to her stocking and said is this my boot? Both Brandon and I said what? Then we had to laugh because she thought that her stocking was a boot. So on we went taking the decorations down and all the sudden Dantzel says Mom look at my new boots. She was wearing James and her stocking on each foot. I know she is going to love that I got a picture of that when she gets older. James just loves watching her sister move from one thing to the next. What a silly little girl.

These pictures are so cute of Dantzel and James. Dantzel thought it was pretty cool that we would let me watch a movie in her room with her goggles on. She thought she was watching for Sharks. Gotta love her big smile. She didn't even know I was taking a picture of her. I had to sneak into her room. After her movie we let her get in the bath with her goggles. She was determined to find a shark she could look at in the water this time.

Dantzel, James & Dinky

Dinky's new thing is to sit on Dantzel's lap while she is watching TV. It is so cute! Dantzel will just sit and rub his ears and pet his back. They are both in heaven when the TV is on.

This was so fun! Dantzel was dancing with James. It was funny because they had to dance sitting down. James even knows how to move his body up and down to the beat of the music. Way cute!

Park Family Christmas letter

The Year 2007 has been a good one for the Park Family. We just completed our second year in our home in Bunkerville, NV. We really enjoy Bunkerville and the friendships we have made. Among the new arrivals for 2007 were James Russell, born May 3 and our Teacup Chihuahua, Dinky, who was born about the same time as little James.

Brandon- is now working at Century 21 in Mesquite and has really enjoyed selling Real Estate. He is now in his 4th year.
Camrin- is now staying home and running a house hold with 2 small children and a dog.
Dantzel- is 2 and talking up a storm. She is also getting into everything and demands a lot of
attention. We are working somewhat unsuccessfully to get her out of diapers and do toilet training. She seems to be somewhat stubborn, there is some
debate in our family on if that comes from her Mom or her Dad.
James- is now 7 months old and is rolling
everywhere. He gets up on his knees and will be crawling very soon. He is still just as laid back and easy going as he was when he was born. We have been blessed with very good children.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! Thank you for being a part of our lives. My the story of our Savior warm your hearts this Holiday Season.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Park Family Update

I have been so busy with family stuff, shopping, getting Christmas cards/letters ready and the Holiday season that I almost forgot how to log into my blog to update. Bare with me as I attempt to add lots of photos and a little writing to explain what the heck has happened in all our pictures.
First is a few pictures of James just growing right up. He has learned how to hold his own bottle. For those of you who didn't know I have had to work very hard for him to even drink from the bottle. We are now over that thank goodness. James loves Orange Julius (just like his dad and older sister). I catch Brandon giving him taste's all the time. I also catch Brandon making orange Julius for Breakfast just so he can let the kids get something a little different in the morning. Dantzel and James both just LOVE it. James has discovered his high chair as well. He has realized that he can sit in it and finally be a part of the family. He loves to sit and play with toys while we play games, eat or are just hanging out in the kitchen.

The next 2 pictures are just my kids hangin' out together. I am so very blessed with kids that get a long so well. I know for a fact that they love each other very much. It melts my heart to see them have so much fun. Dantzel even tries reading to James. James is so patient with Dantzel. He just totally lets her pounce on him. He thinks it is so funny. Dinky just likes to be in the middle of it all. He sure has been a good dog to have around the kids.

The next picture is Dantzel playing with her princess wand and tiara. Brandon brought them home from work one night. Dantzel thought they were the coolest toys. Buck and Chris or should I say Chris sent them home for my spoiled little princess. I got a picture of Brandon playing with her that was way cute but, I think he would be really mad if I put it on the blog. You all are going to have to settle with the picture of my cute little girl. Sorry!

Dantzel does the most random things. Sometimes we wonder where she learns stuff. The other night Brandon took off his shoes and socks in the family room and the next thing we see is Dantzel putting on his socks. It was so funny because when I took the picture, both Brandon and I said it is too bad she didn't have on a huge belt buckle. Just the way she was standing it would have been perfect. I was really tempted to add one but, maybe that will have to be on a later post. I have both kids in the room with me and when that happens it means that my posting time is about done for. Especially when I can smell something that stinks!

Last but not least I thought I better add a few pictures of the Hills Christmas party. We had a lot of fun and, Brandon even looks like he had a good time. You had to be there to see why he had such a big smile on his face. If I was the one who opened the gift he got, I think I would have been bright red. I take that back, I know I would have been bright red. If you want to know more you are going to have to email him for the details. His email is brandon@mesquitegroup.com I am sure he would love to have people ask him all about it. :)

We hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I will try to add our Christmas letter in the next day or two just so you all can view it online.
