We went to Linda's store for her party and Dantzel even got to try to break open the pinata. I didn't know if she would know what to do but, she did. It was so cute watching her try so hard to bust it open. She got a lot of candy (like she needed more during this Holiday Season). We also got to enjoy some pozole (a Mexican soup like meal) that was very good. Linda is such a neat lady. We just love her!
Brandon was begging Linda if he could bust open the Pinata. She wouldn't let him.
This is Dantzel hat that she got from the pinata. She used it to put her candy in. Then once we got home it turned into a hat. She doesn't know that once I got a hold of it it went right to the trash. I got really sick of all the red paper all over the floor.
In Bunkerville, they have a Santa that gets on top of the Fire Truck and goes around the town to bring a Christmas Eve gift to all the kids. We didn't know this happened until we were going to the Post Office and saw everyone outside waiting for Santa. We got out of the car really fast so Dantzel could have a part in this great activity. Bunkerville is the Best! The only problem with this great idea is, now Dantzel thinks Santa comes on a loud Fire Truck. Kids are so fun at this age. They believe everything and anything they see.
We also had a great Christmas Eve Dinner. Buck and Chris came over for dinner and games. I made a ham, potato's and peas. We then opened presents from Buck and Chris. Dantzel got a princess pillow with lots and lots of glitter. James got some new frog slippers with a stuffed frog. The kids loved every moment. We then let Dantzel open one of her presents that night so she could watch it while we played games. It worked for part of the night. Overall, we had a great time. We were very glad we had someone to spend Christmas Eve with. :)

Linda's party sounds like it was a hit! She really is a special friend. I'm tickled that Bunkerville has a Christmas parade of sorts. I can just imagine how excited Dantzel would be to see Santa on that big fire truck. I'm so glad she got to see it.
