My Kindergartener

Mrs. Woolsey and Dantzel at the open house

I guess it is safe to say that Dantzel is in kindergarten now. She made it through her first week. She is so big and smart. She loves to eat the "hot" lunch. I thought she would like me to pack a lunch but, so far all she likes is school lunch. Saves me a little time in the morning. I know she is actually eating the lunch because I ask her if she needs a snack when she comes home and she isn't hungry. I hope this lasts all year long.
Mrs. Woolsey is so sweet. I think this year is going to be great. So far she has been AWESOME! She has already asked me to be the party planner mom. I think this will be fun and help keep me involved. I'm excited for this assignment.
On the first day of school Dantzel was so excited. We took some pictures but, my little cute sign that I made didn't turn out so cute. Oh well, at least I tried.
To my cute little Dantzel girl,
I can't believe how fast time when by. I remember going to the hospital to have you. We were very blessed with a cute baby girl. Ever since you came to this world you have had a special spirit. You get along well with everyone. All your cousins and friends love to play with you because you always try to involve everyone. I hope you can keep this good trait with you throughout your life.
Last year you went to Preschool and it was one of the best things for you. Mrs. Adams and Ms. Maria were great teachers. They taught you a lot about how the public school system works. You loved to eat breakfast every morning the the big cafeteria. You learned all your letters and sounds. I can't believe that I can sit and read you a story and you are begging me to let you read some of the words. You just started kindergarten! You are a very fast learner.
Now that you have started Kindergarten you have blossomed into a big girl. It was almost like you grew up over night. You are so responsible and this makes me very happy. I wont lie, at times it makes me feel like you don't need me anymore but, I know this is just a learning phase for you and me. I love that you are so excited to see me when I pick you up from school. I think that first day was hardest on both of your little brothers. James really missed having you around and had actually cried a few times during the day. Duncan was yelling your name and wondering around the house all day. I wont lie I was sad to let you walk into your classroom but, at the same time I know this is what is suppose to happen. I can't hold you back from growing up. I hope that we can be best friends throughout your life. I love that you come sit on my lap and give me hugs and kisses. I know one day you will out grow this but, I hope it doesn't happen to soon.
Dantzel I want you to know that your Mom and Dad love you very much. We are so happy that you are growing up to be such a good girl. You have big shoes to fill because your little brothers look up to you and want to follow in your foot steps. I hope that you will always Remember who you are. We are so proud of the girl that you are turning into.
Love,
Mommy

She's growing up too fast! I remember when we moved into the ward almost 5 years ago and she was still a baby. She's a beautiful girl! :)

We love Mrs Woolsey! You're gonna make a great party planner mom. :)
