We had to settle for going swimming at the Rec. Center instead of Lake mead last Saturday. I guess it all worked out. I really didn't want to go to the lake on a windy day. I am also not sure the water at the lake is warm enough to swim in. How do you tell two little kids that love water that they can't swim? We had fun, and it was a lot closer to our house. We even got to come home and take a little nap. Yippee!

I am sorry you were not able to go to the lake to enjoy your "new" boat. I am sure you made the best decision. The lake is no fun in the wind, especially with that zippy boat of yours. The kids love the Rec Center almost as much as the lake. They just love water. Looks like you all had a great time. If it ever gets warm up here-they can get in our little pool. Right now the ducks are the only ones enjoying it!
