As I think about my life, it makes me very grateful for all the "things" I have. Brandon's Grandma and Grandpa Rice are lucky to be alive after what happened to there motor home last Sunday. As you can see in the pictures... it caught fire. Thank goodness they were not sleeping or somehow stuck inside. They were actually at a gas station getting gas and propane. Grandma was inside the motor home when she saw and smelt smoke. She got out but, as she tells me it was a little tricky getting her seat belt off. Somehow it was stuck. In a matter of seconds and minutes they got to watch and witness there motor home and house for the past 5 months go up in flames. How sad that would be to watch everything you had burn. Grandma told me "I looked down at myself and thought, this is all I have, the clothes on my body". Thank goodness they still have a beautiful home to go back to in Bountiful. I guess it is also a good thing they were on there way home for the summer instead of just on there way out. As Brandon and I tell Grandpa...I guess you can actually get the motor home of your dreams now. Grandma doesn't have any reason not to want him looking on eBay anymore. It is too bad that they have to do it this way instead of either selling or trading the old one. When all is said and done we are just happy and very grateful we still have our Grandparents around.

Wow, how scary....I'm glad everything turned out ok.
Seriously, that is so scary and so sad! I'm so glad they were able to get out!
Oh my goodness that is so scary! I am so glad that they are okay and it really makes us take a second look on what is really important in life! Happy for families. :-)
Thanks so much for the pictures. It is so hard to see mom's beautiful motorhome gone up in smoke like that, but I am grateful that they were in a city where they could get help. Brandon, thank you so much for giving dad a hand loading the u-haul. You kids are so good to help. I love you all, give those cute kids a kiss from grandma.
