OUR SWEET PROPHET

Many emotions as I remember our sweet prophet. Can you imagine the reunion he is having with his dear wife? I wish I could have been there with them to celebrate. I am going to miss many things about him. Some of my favorites are:

  • His since of humor
  • Him simply waving his cane as he walked in and out of conference
  • The progress he made with all the Temples
  • His sweet spirit he had even while telling funny jokes
What a blessing it has been to be able to be a part of all his work and teachings.

Cam- what a beautiful page. It is hard to even know what to say. What a wonderful, man, leader, and example. He will be greatly missed but at the same time it is as much happy as it is sad because of all the knowledge we have. Thanks for the testimony!

I must agree with Dallas's comments above. When I heard of the news last night, my emotions were very roller-coster-like. He definately will go down in the books and memories as one of the most noble in the history of the world. Thanks for sharing this memory with us. From Zach

What a special man! He will truly be missed. Conference just won't be the same without him. I was talking to Marsha about him the other night, she said he had been up and around and working until the last week before his death. How many people do you know who can do that at 97. I will miss his humor, humility and unselfish love.

What a truly magnificent man. He will truly be missed. He was truly a great example. Watching his funeral and what people had to say about him was amazing. No one had anything bad to say and had the upmost respect for such a great leader. He will be missed but what a legacy he has left us with. May we all become more like him.

Our prayers are with Pres. Monson as he has become the 16th President.
