James was eating some butternut squash today. We had to move right to the real food because he wanted nothing to do with the rice and oatmeal cereal. I think he is going to be a good eater when he will get to the real big people food. He was already trying to eat my sandwich today during lunch. I put it up to his mouth just to see what he would do and the little stinker to a bit. I didn't realize he actually got some bread in his mouth. He was just chewing it until I took it out. I put my sandwich up to his mouth again and he would have taken another bit if I would have let him. It will be so nice when he can just feed himself.

What a great shot! He looks like her really enjoyed that squash by the look on his face and the mess. So cute! How has he been handling it? Hopefully it all works well so he can just skip the cereal.
Oh ya, and I love the Halloween bib too. Festive!
He has really enjoyed the squash. I gave him a cracker today. He really liked that as well. I don't know how much he ate but, it entertained him while I made Brandon's B-day cup cakes. It sure is fun to try new things with babies. :)
