My Big girl turned 5

Dantzel had a birthday yesterday and she is all grown up and ready for Kindergarten to start. Actually when she woke up she said Mom, is it school day? When is it going to start cooling down so I can go to school. She is so cute.

We had a fun day. She wanted pasta and Cheeto's and a Capri sun for lunch. We made cupcakes and cake too. She got a backpack for school, a toe ring, a Zhu Zhu pet and a bed so it has somewhere to sleep. I think she was very happy with everything.

We love having Dantzel in our family. She is a great big sister. Her brothers love her very much and look up to her more than she will ever know. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISSY!!!

Nielson baby girl

Chris and Jodi had their baby last night. She is a DOLL!!! Here are her stats 6 lbs 15 oz 20 inches long. Her name is Anna Nielson!

swimming lessons 2010

Both Dantzel and James took swimming lessons this summer. Dantzel already knew how to swim but, I thought it would be a good refresher course. James on the other hand was so far from learning how to swim. Little did I know that he would be jumping in and swimming across the pool by the end of the lessons. I am so proud of James. He is a little fish. Dantzel is a good little swimmer too. Its amazing what a little money and good teacher will do. Thanks goes to Stephanie and her sister for doing an AMAZING job with my kids.

We went to SLC for a Park side Family reunion and for Grandma Whatcott's funeral. If was fun seeing all the family in one trip. As you can see Duncan was really happy to see Great Grandpa Rice. He wouldn't let go. Very cute!
Also Duncan LOVES water. He high bolts it to the door if it is even cracked cause he is after the water. Sprinklers came on and he was a GONER! We love you little Dunk! hope you had a very HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY!!!

Birthday time...Duncan is 1

Duncan has been walking for a little while now. I love it when they learn how to walk. He really started standing on his own at about 9 months and he would only take a few steps but, he actually decided to start walking probably a week and a half ago. He is so cute and determined. I love having a toddler around to help "clean" the house. He is into everything!

I'm sure I am missing a bunch of things but this is what I can remember right now. We love having him as part of our family. He is such a happy kid. His smile is so contagious! I am very grateful he is a part of our family. We LOVE you Duncan! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY! Love Mommy and Daddy
