visitng grandma bug a boos farm

PAUSE THE MUSIC!!!

This video made Brandon's day. He thought it was hilarious that Dantzel could actually get milk out of Betsy. What can I say...I married a city slicker. No worries, I still love him to pieces! Wait, did you see me milking that silly goat?

We had a good time at Grandma Bug a Boo's farm. We got to feed Pokey the turtle. Milk Betsy the goat. Play with Lucky the kid goat. Play with all the dogs (sorry not shown). Play with all the farm gates and gadgets and much, much more. Grandma's house is always a BLAST!!!!

P.S. Don't get used to the scrap page. I am a busy mom with not enough time to design all my many posts. :)

Erin...this is for you!!! :)

This post is for my baby sister Erin. I love it when she comes to visit us!!! My kids totally love playing with her and she is a big help to me. She always has her Viola with her and on rare occasions she brings her BLUE electric Viola. I don't know why but I love it when she brings big Blue along. I only wish she would bring the amp with it (hint hint). It really makes me want to learn to play the Voila just so I could be like her. Every now and again I pull my Flute out and "try" to jam with her but...it has been a long time since I played. My kids like to watch us both play together. It is fun but I need to practice more.

Here is a cool picture I took of her practicing while I made dinner the other night. Isn't it cool that my camera can make the Blue stand out like this?!?

Thanks for sharing your talent with us Erin, we totally LOVE it. Come visit us again soon!!! :)

P.S. GOOD LUCK THIS WEEKEND!!!!!

Baby shower for Jodi

We planned a surprise baby shower for my sister but it ended up not being a surprise. Someone spilled the beans. At least all the invitations were out so my sister couldn't tell us no.

Here are just some funny pictures of some of the games we played. We made everyone smell dirty diapers full of candy bars. They had to guess what kind of candy bar was melted inside. We also played a game I like to call musical bottles. When we stopped the music whoever ended up with the bottle then they had to chug the kool-aid. Remember they had to drink the kool-aid from the bottle. It was so dang funny!

Here are just a few fun photos of the kids and Grandma playing outside. The weather was so nice in Annabella. The kids spent a lot of time outside. Thanks to Jodi and Chris for letting us invade there home once again. We love you guys! We are so excited for this baby boy to arrive.

July 4th in SLC

We started our fun filled weekend on Thursday at 3:00 am. Brandon and I decided that we needed to travel while our kids were still asleep. We got to great Grandma Parks house and visited with her until she took off for Terry and Paulette's house. It is always so fun to see her. Brandon and his 2 twin brothers got to play a few games before we headed over to Lynn and Richards house for a swim.

Friday (happy 4th)

We decided to spend the day at the Zoo. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a great time. We sure did miss uncle Shawn and aunt Amy though. Our next family reunion we are bound and determined to get everyone to spend the whole reunion together. Brandon and I are going to plan it away from all the other in-law families. Hope they all agree with us on this one. :)

We then went from the Zoo to

As you can see Dantzel was in HEAVEN!!!!! We also went swimming but I seem to not have any pictures because I was always in the water with my kids. sorry bout that.

Saturday

Yes, I took my kids to the movies. I was a little worried about this because this was a first. Brandon was out shooting with his brothers and so Grandma and Grandpa really wanted to see this movie with the grand kids. Amy and Shawn got to join us yippee!!! We also had aunt Lauri and her 2 kids. It was a lot of fun. The movie was super cute and my kids even watched pretty darn good for being at the theatre. James fell asleep at the very end. That was great! Sorry Laurel for Dantzel talking to you though the whole movie. She likes to talk things out with others. That's my little Dantzel. She gets all the talking from her Daddy. He likes to talk as well. Gotta love it. :)
